The Covid-19 pandemic has elevated the status of our Nurses even higher than where it was before the pandemic. Some may say that their job is mostly Ob-Job-Training (OJT) as no textbook can ever replace the real-time lessons and projects that our Nurses are involved in on a daily basis. So shouldn’t our nurses all hold a Master Degree in Nursing by now?

Most of them wouldn’t see the need to upgrade themselves after becoming a Registered Nurse. Actually, in order for them to harness and develop further the knowledge that they have gained thus far in their careers, our Nurses need and should upgrade themselves academically.

Sadly, not everyone can be a Nursing Scholar…

SingHealth’s efforts in providing Scholarship opportunities to our Nurses is great! But if you are not on the receiving end of that Scholarship, how would that make you feel? Well, you can upgrade yourself. If you are willing to put in the effort, and you will succeed!

What are the pathways available to you? Base on your experience in Nursing, you can opt for either one of the following courses:

• Postgraduate Certificate Nursing (PG Cert)
• Postgraduate Diploma Nursing (PG Dip)
• Master of Science Nursing (MSc)

If you start with the PG Cert, you will have the option to continue on to complete either the PG Dip or the MSc. The choice is yours!

You don’t even have to take No-Pay Leave to attend the course. The course is 100% Online and via Distance Learning. To help you with the fees, you are eligible to apply for a partial scholarship and you can pay the balance tuition fees via a monthly instalment plan.

With 4 intakes available each year for all the 3 programmes, there has never been a better time for you to upgrade yourself and be open and available for any higher appointments.
