The Universidad Católica San Antonio (“Saint Anthony Catholic University”), also known as the Universidad Católica de Murcia (UCAM), is a private university located in Murcia in south-eastern Spain. Founded in 1996 by José Luis Mendoza Pérez, a lay Catholic, with the permission of Bishop Javier Azagra Labiano of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Cartagena, UCAM offers undergraduate and graduate academic programs taught by faculty and researchers engaged with the quality of the education provided.

The university is characterized by a firm commitment to Catholic orthodoxy and the moral and social doctrines of the Church. UCAM aims to contribute to the transmission of human knowledge and the development of research, from the critical, responsible and creative freedom of the person, according to gospel principles. UCAM developed a system of quality management applied to teaching, research and services to ensure the human relations among all members of the university community in order to make more effective educational work and research.

Entry Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree:

Singaporeans and International Students in Singapore will need to present the following as part of application:

• G.C.E. A Levels; or
• Polytechnic Diploma; or
• IB Diploma; and
• G.C.E. O Levels/ G.C.S.E. with English as a 1st Language with at least a C
• IELTS Academic 6.0 ( only if you do not have a pass at C for English at GCE O levels or the GCSE)

In addition to the above…

Bachelor’s in Dentistry and Pharmacy: the applicant needs to have strong grades in  Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics or to have a high school diploma focus in the Health area (Polytechnic Diploma in Pharmaceutical Sciences). Minimum 75%, also individually in Maths, Biology, and Chemistry.

Master’s Degree: University GPA 3.0 or 6.5 above, UCAM is flexible with engineering backgrounds.

Others:

• Master’s in Hospitality Management: The students need to have a bachelor’s degree in a related field like tourism, business, law, business science, and economy.

• Master’s in High-performance Sport: Strength and Conditioning:  The students need to have a bachelor’s degree in Sports Sciences or similar for the official title. Also available Own title, only stamped by UCAM.
